We offer premium childcare based in Frimley Green

Who We Are

Frimley Nest Day Nursery was established in 2018.
We are a small, independent, 34 place nursey who offer full day care and preschool services for babies and young children aged 6months - 4 years 11months.
We had our 1st Ofsted inspection in June 2022 and were really pleased to achieve a 'Good' grade.
We strongly believe that every child is unique. That’s why we work closely with parent's and carer's to customise your child's care based on their individual needs.  We’ll sit down with you, listen to your requests and prepare a customised plan to support your child whilst in our care.
Whilst attending our nursery, your child will take part in a wide and varied range of age appropriate activities which are carefully planned using the Early Years Foundation Stage, practitioner knowledge, and most importantly the needs and interests of the children.
We are very fortunate to be situated within the grounds of a large park which offers playing fields, a playground, and a woodland area. We utilise these facilities daily to promote outdoor play and learning experiences for all children. The pre-school children also attend 'allotment club' throughout the spring and summer months. This offers so many learning opportunities throughout the process of preparing the ground,  planting the seeds, caring for them, and eating the delicious produce at the end!
Please get in touch if you'd like to know more about us or to arrange a visit to view the nursery and meet the team!

Meet the Team

Amy Thompson

Joint Managing Director

Welcome to Frimley Nest Day Nursery!

I've worked in Early Years since 2009 starting as an apprentice working my way up to management. I have worked in a variety of settings including day nurseries, pre-schools and private nannying. I truly believe my wealth of experience and knowledge has enabled me to create a vision of how I want Frimley Nest to be. We pride ourselves on the fantastic reputation we have within the local community.

Our main focus is to create a homely, safe and exciting environment for your children to play and learn. I have learnt so much in my career and am also a Mum myself so know just how precious our little ones are!

Myself, Eve and our fantastic team are so excited to welcome you to Frimley Nest and to meet you and your little ones.

Eve Reader

Joint Managing Director

I have worked in the Early Years Sector since 1999. During this time I have gained experience, knowledge and skills in a range of different roles. These have included various positions in full day care nurseries, pre-schools and  holiday clubs. I've also worked as a training manager delivering Early Years Qualifications - This included developing and preparing teaching/curriculum materials for my  team,  teaching and assessing students, and working in partnership with many childcare settings.

I am passionate about supporting every child to achieve to their full potential through a positive environment which helps children to feel happy, confident and secure.

I feel strongly about providing rich learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors, and helping the children build a strong sense of belonging and community.

Natalie Reed

Nursery Manager

I have worked in  Early Years and other childcare roles since 2012. During this time I have built my knowledge, skills, and experience whilst working my way up to becoming a nursery manager at FNDN.

Having my own child whilst working at FNDN has helped me support and develop the FNDN vision of providing a homely, safe, and welcoming  environment where all children can grow and learn and families feel welcome, included, and valued.

Rebecca Horrocks

Nursery Manager

I have worked in  Early Years since 2012 and have experience  working with all age groups from babies to pre-school. Over the years I have progressed from assistant roles, to leadership roles, then into management.  I'm really pleased to have joined  FNDN and I'm proud to be part of the nursery's vision.

I am passionate about providing the children and their families with a welcoming environment, where children can learn life skills and access the opportunities and experience to help shape their future.

Frimley Nest Day Nursery employees a team of welcoming, caring, passionate, well qualified, and experienced Nursery Practitioners and Room Leaders.  We also support career training and development for our apprentices.
