Extra Curricular Activities

                   Extra Curricular Activities

Woodland walks:
The children in all rooms enjoy regular visits to a local woodland area.
This is a great opportunity for the children to explore nature and the world around them and manage appropriate risks and challenges.
Recent activities include: Sounds of the woods, We're Going on a Bear Hunt, whose footprint is it?, writing with sticks in the mud, and metal detecting for treasure!

Allotment Club:
Pre School aged children go on a weekly outing to our very own allotment. This offers so many sensory and learning opportunities including: Healthy eating, sensory exploration, learning where food comes from, caring for and respecting nature, and not to mention the benefits of gardening and the outdoors to children's mental and physical health and their wellbeing.

Play Ball (Additional fee payable directly to the Play Ball company)
Children aged 2 years and over have the opportunity to take part in these fantastic sport sessions which focus on developing their physical skills, turn taking and sharing, and building their confidence and self esteem.

Tennis  Club:
We are delighted to announce that we now have a Nursery Membership for the newly refurbished Tennis courts!
We run weekly tennis sessions for children aged 3years and over. We change the day of our booking weekly to ensure all children have the opportunity to play.
